Upon Bjon's birth, Jonalyn and Albert readily embraced their child, as they had anticipated the possibility of him having a cleft condition due to their experience with their second child. Despite their preparedness and understanding of the situation, navigating the challenges was an emotional journey. Witnessing a child in pain and dealing with breastfeeding difficulties and occasional illnesses takes a toll on any mother. Despite Jonalyn's efforts to provide the best care and medication, she keenly feels her baby's discomfort. Amidst these challenges, concerns about Bjon Jhi's future linger, especially since they've already experienced the journey with two children having a cleft condition. Jonalyn remains optimistic about the importance of early surgery for children with similar conditions. 
 
This past March 2024, Bjon successfully underwent cleft lip surgery thanks to the incredible team at Rotaplast International, and his parents are already looking ahead to his palate surgery in March 2025. They envisions a future where Bjon Jhi can address speech issues and engage in outdoor activities without fear of societal judgment. The couple is determined to provide the support and interventions needed to ensure their child's well-being and a brighter future.
