Angelo Jr. was born with a cleft lip and palate, a condition that brought both challenges and emotional struggles for his family in Leyte. His father, a construction worker earning around ₱400 a day, and his mother, Precy, a devoted housewife, found themselves overwhelmed with worry and confusion at their son's birth. Precy remembers the moment she first saw Angelo, filled with tears and an unexplainable mix of emotions. 

As time went on, she learned to embrace her child's uniqueness, firmly believing that children like Angelo are blessings sent by God. She protects him fiercely from harmful environments, knowing his vulnerability. 

Despite their love, the family often worries about Angelo's future and how he will be treated as he grows up. He is the youngest of four siblings, showered with affection and kindness from all around. With a family history of cleft conditions, they understand his challenges are part of a larger story.

Precy hopes that surgery will transform Angelo's life, shielding him from bullying and helping him grow up with confidence. Recently, they connected with Abounding in Love through their local Rural Health Unit, igniting a spark of hope for the medical assistance they need. 

In March, the family plans to travel from Leyte to Cebu for a medical mission with Rotaplast International, eagerly anticipating Angelo’s screening for surgery.
