Meet Jovic, a 12-year-old boy with a kind heart who has been living with a cleft lip and palate, a condition inherited from his father side. His mother stays at home to care for him, while his father works hard as a farmer, earning about ₱3,000 a month. Despite the challenges they face, Jovic's family loves and supports him deeply.
 
As the youngest of three siblings, Jovic is surrounded by love and protection. His brothers and sisters defend him against bullying, but as he gets older, the emotional struggles have become more challenging. In school, Jovic wears a face mask—not because he is sick, but to hide his cleft, which sometimes makes him a target for teasing. This has affected his confidence, even though he is friendly and talented, especially in singing, dancing, and sports.
 
His parents did not know about his condition before he was born, but they have worked hard to find help for him. After learning about Jovic’s situation, the mother of another beneficiary who will be part of the March Rotaplast International Medical Mission reached out to Abounding in Love, asking if Jovic could join the mission as well due to her concerns about his long wait and ongoing struggles. Abounding in Love communicated with Jovic’s parents, and it has been confirmed that he will be included in the upcoming March mission, giving him hope for the first time that his cleft can finally be repaired.
