Condition: Cleft Lip
Khalil was born with a cleft lip, which has brought emotional challenges for his family. His father works as an e-bike driver and his mother dedicates herself to caring for Khalil. When he was born, his mother was overwhelmed with fear about how others might treat him, especially regarding bullying.
Despite the struggles, Khalil is surrounded by love from his family. He is a joyful baby who enjoys eating and dancing to music, but his mother worries about the pain and judgment he might face as he grows up. She dreams of him having cleft lip surgery to help him avoid bullying and live a life full of confidence and happiness.

Please be aware that the children enrolled medical missions always have the possibility of changing. It is not uncommon for children to be deemed ineligible for surgery due to other health issues. If this occurs with a child you are sponsoring, we will substitute another child in their place and notify you via email.
