Condition: Cleft Lip
Robert was born with a cleft lip, a condition that was noticed right away after he was born. His mother, Roselily, has been taking care of him full-time. Initially, Robert’s family was very worried about his condition, knowing it would need special care. As the firstborn, Robert is a bit shy but is lucky to have a loving family by his side. His cleft lip is inherited from his dad's side.
Despite his challenges, Robert is a happy and friendly child. He loves playing badminton and hanging out with friends. At home, he is helpful and tries to be obedient. Robert aspires to be a police officer one day. His family has faith that with the right medical help, he will grow more confident and no longer feel embarrassed.
They discovered the organization Abounding in Love on Facebook, and it has brought them hope. With their support, Robert is set to receive surgery this coming March through the Rotaplast International mission. This surgery is a big step toward a brighter and more confident future for Robert.
