Sofia Grace is a young girl from Cebu who was born with a cleft lip. This condition brought a lot of worries for her mother, Iris, who is an online seller making a modest income while also taking care of Sofia full-time. Despite her challenges, Iris has always stayed strong, believing in Sofia's spirit and value.
 
One of the toughest parts for Iris has been feeding Sofia. She had to hold the spoon at a certain angle to make it easier for her little girl to eat. This daily struggle reminded her of how fragile Sofia was, but Iris made it a point to never show sadness or fear in front of her. She wanted Sofia to grow up feeling confident and happy, without ever feeling “different.”
 
Sofia is growing up surrounded by love from her caring family, and so far, she hasn’t faced any bullying due to her condition. This is why Iris is eager for Sofia to have corrective surgery as soon as possible—she wants to protect her from any teasing when she starts school. Iris suspects Sofia's condition might have been caused by a lack of nutrients during pregnancy, even though there's no family history of it.
 
Despite her challenges, Sofia is a joyful and energetic child. She loves listening to music and dancing, bringing endless happiness to her family. Her lively spirit gives her parents much strength. They discovered the organization Abounding in Love through a neighbor who had a similar experience with their child. After witnessing the good work of the group, Iris reached out, hopeful that Sofia could also receive help.
 
As for Sofia's future, Iris dreams that she might one day become a nurse, inspired by her grandmother, who is a retired nurse. But most importantly, she promises to support any dreams Sofia wishes to follow.
